ABOUT TINY MESSY HANDS
Welcome to Tiny Messy Hands the joyful home of sensory play and early learning for little ones aged 0–5 in Orpington and surrounding areas.
Our sessions are designed to support all children, including those with additional needs such as sensory processing differences, developmental delays, or motor coordination challenges. We create a calm, inclusive environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow through play.
Each week, we offer a range of themed sensory and messy play stations featuring everything from foam, water, and colourful rice to sand, dry bins, and gross motor setups. These activities are intentionally created to support:
-
Sensory regulation
-
Fine and gross motor development
-
Language and communication
-
Confidence, curiosity, and social interaction
We take a child-led, play-based approach grounded in early years best practices. Our sessions help little ones develop essential skills in a way that’s fun, pressure-free, and deeply engaging particularly for children who may find structured settings overwhelming.
Parents and carers stay alongside their children throughout, making memories together in a welcoming space without the mess at home! We also offer a dedicated baby-only area for non-walkers, ensuring even the youngest explorers can play safely at their own pace.
Created by a local mum with a background in child development, Tiny Messy Hands was inspired by the transformational impact of sensory play on her own child. We're passionate about providing meaningful, accessible experiences that support the whole child physically, emotionally, and socially.
Whether you're in Orpington, Chislehurst, Sidcup, Swanley, Bromley, or West Wickham, Tiny Messy Hands offers a creative, supportive space for little ones of all abilities to play, explore, and thrive.
